"Scott recently completed a project where our carpeting and maple hardwood flooring on the main level of our house was replaced with hickory floors. Scott's professionalism and attention to detail throughout the entire process was wonderful. Tired of our carpeting and laminate, we received a spot-on estimate from Scott, impeccable workmanship, timeliness, expertise, an open and honest working relationship, unending status and communication, and floors we absolutely love, love, love throughout the main level of our 1970s split-level home :) Scott's attention to detail is really unbelievable: care in working so close to our newly painted walls (minimal, and I mean very minimal, touch-ups were necessary), remaking a custom piece around our breakfast bar, offering to return if/as needed to help fit a newly installed sliding barn door, offering several finishing suggestions on retrimming and flooring transitions, completing the stairs AFTER we moved our frig back upstairs, refinishing a few scratches we incurred from the frig move, ... the list goes on and on and on. "Scott is an excellent craftsman and truly a professional on installing hardwood floors. When we built our house 11 years ago, Scott installed oak flooring in our main great room and foyer. He also helped us decide on a border within the dining room to distinguish the area between the kitchen and family room and we have had many compliments on the style, colors and contrast incorporated. He also did an amazing job in our study. We wanted a nautical theme and Scott suggested a medallion and provided a catalog with a number of items to choose from. We decided on a compass medallion that he installed in the center of the flooring in the study and it looks truly amazing. Although our house was not a model home, when the floors were finished, our builder asked to bring in potential prospects to view the floors. We have had many compliments over the years and always look to Scott when we are ready for new projects. Now that we have had time to finish our basement, we asked Scott to come back and he has done an amazing job once again! The first thing people notice when they walk into the basement is our new hardwood floor. Scott takes great pride in his work, is extremely dedicated and caring and the results show it. We thought he did an amazing job then so when a leaking valve in our 1/2 bathroom ruined the floor, I searched for Scott and he was able to replace and refinish the floor. He does awesome work and really takes the time to make sure it's right. It says a lot that after 10 years, I wanted him to do the work and didn't even seek bids elsewhere.
